Spectrum ABA provides services in these primary settings; in-center, home-based, community, and the child’s school. Each location offers unique benefits and a combination of each allows us to address concerns in different areas.
Our center can provide your child with a structured setting, this can help a child as they prepare to attend school in the future, and also help them work side by side with their peers.
We come to your home to work in the child’s natural environment. This is a great choice for teaching independent living skills. It allows us to work with siblings, involve parents and family members, and build skills with friends.
Spectrum ABA can also provide 1:1 classroom support and IEP meeting attendance.
Individualized goals can be created for your child to meet in locations such as playgrounds, grocery stores, and restaurants.
Family Training is an integral part of our ABA program. In the beginning the RBT works directly with your child to pair, establish instructional control, master skills, and decrease maladaptive behaviors. Over time caregivers are taught to implement the teaching techniques and behavior management strategies to ensure generalization of these skills.
The Behavior Analysis Certification Board has a short video that describes ABA, some of its practices, and its benefits.
